Im in a brain lock, I have been using the program javatc and understand 99 percent of it. I have included a picture of the problem I am having. In the picture the section for Primary Coil where you put in your numbers for your primary. It has Radius one and Radius two, my values are 6 and 13.794, these numbers are fixed and what I measured.

The question is why when I change the 6 to any other value does the 13.794 change. The 13.794 is fixed so why would it change when it is not associated with any other value. It also changes when testing other parameters also.

Any thoughts,

The inital data you put in for your primary coil, could be the complete length of the primary coil, and you want it to stay at this, since it is your design to have it so.

But JavaTC sees this as the tapping point, so once you run the calculation with tunning selected, JavaTC will change the radius2 to the calculated tapping point for matching resonance of the primary LC to secondary LC.
