My 240kv voltage multiplier
« on: January 09, 2020, 11:34:39 PM »
this is my voltage multiplier, it is a dual polarity, 5 stages each side, 10 stages total, and it runs from a AC flyback with a ZVS driver running on a 18v laptop power supply. it really pumps out the ozone and scares the hell out of people when they see it for the first time.

Hi
nice cascade multiplier here :)

will you add some high ohm resistors at the outputs to make continuous arcs and protect the diodes against  peak current or will you keep this set up  ?  ;)

Hello High Voltage Academy

Great results! Thanks for sharing. Maybe you want to protect your multiplier diodes by a string of resistors on the output.

Best regards
