How to design FPGA based on EDA technology?

The traditional electronic system design method is compared with the modern electronic system design method, and the field programmable gate array (FPGA) circuit based on EDA technology is introduced. Programming application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) have received more and more attention in digital system design and control circuits. So, how to design FPGA based on EDA technology?

Strange post but going on your title yes many EDA programs also have the ability to change the design into an FPGA to save vast numbers of logic chips and in some cases complete microprocessors as well. Some of the latest systems also include analog ie Psoc from Cypress but this is rare and these chips are somewhat fragile on the inputs to momentary abuse.
I still have to see proper low noise design  in these to compete with standard good design practice.

I saw attempts in the late 70s to make video digital CRT drives that also included the cathode drive with disastrous results a -90 volt pin not far from a digital input spelt disaster.

About that time we started using one of the first 1600 bpi tape drives, from Ampex.   It had dozens of PC boards on a couple of backplanes.
They had +/- 12 volts and +/-30 volts running all over the place in addition to the the +5.    The backplane pins were tiny and real close together. To make it worse, the ground pins for each voltage were located between the plus and the minus.  So---- if your scope or meter probe slipped just the tiniest bit. you blew out dozens of pc boards.   Back then you didn't order new boards.  You just sat there replacing chips on double sided boards.
