Mosfet gate driver alternative SSTC systamatic analysis

I just came up with a music slayer exciter coil driver i just only made the systamatic by some research. I want to know that should i change something in this circuit diagram or rearrange something cz this isnt working how it shoud be.or I mad the circuit wrong way give me a good suggetion .

You connected the audio input on a pin called "out A", other than that I do not have any experience with Slayer exciters.

You should connect the output of your EL817C-F optocoupler (pin 3) to the Vcc (Pin 6) of the DS0026 and connect also the pin 3 of the DS chip to the ground of your circuit, in order to interrupt the power of the DS0026 and effectively switch your mosfet at the sound frequency you apply to the optocoupler.

That schematic reminds me a lot the "Slayer exciter of steroids" from PowerMax YouTube channel. Watch his video, maybe you get more insight about the circuit in your post.

Yep that's the slayer exciter on steroids from powermax. I built it too, and I remember the circuit. The opto-isolator isn't part of it though, and I wouldn't trust it to handle the full gate driver current. I'd suggest using the opto-isolator to power a MOSFET (with pulldown resistor of course) that powers the gate driver.

I get every component shown in his video.Instead of irfp 260 i bought irfp 460. But i cant find the mosfet gate driver DS0026.I live in Aisa,Bangladesh.this component is too rare in my country and they didnt even know the alternataive component. I research and found that mic4452 and some other driver are same but i cant even find this too.Please suggest me how can drive the mosfet gate pin.Is there any other ways too drive the mosfet get pin which is coommon in electronics?

The IRFP460 is rated for a higher voltage, but lower current. It is not appropriate for this application. The DS0026 is an outdated component and it is only available aftermarket though sites like ebay. I suggest using a different gate driver IC.

Can u kindly suggest me a gate driver ic to drive my mosfet and shoud i change my mosfets?

You can hopefully use a UCC37321 as replacement of DS0026 (both inverting output) but you need to alternate your schematic a bit.

Else you can buy DS0026 from ebay (sorry if posting that kind of link is forbidden)

Can i use
IR2110 MOSFET Driver
instead of DS0026 and also this ic is 16 pin i have to change my syscamatic a little bit im not professioanl . Can u tell me will this work instead of ds0026 ?.if yes, how should i connect this to my mosfet gate pin its way complicated

I am not familiar with IR2110 nor I know how to connect its for a SSTC application.

If you cann find a UCC37321 inverting mosfet driver, maybe one possible way to work is the attached schematic, but without audio modulation, still with a potentiometer you can adjust the pulses, so you have the modulation element in your final design. (more experienced forum users can correct any possible error in my attached picture).

You can always get what parts you want for your electronic projects in various internet sites, eg ebay/amazon/mouser etc in you are unable to find them in the local market.

For simplicity and availability, how about a couple bipolar transistors in emitter-follower configuration as a gate-driver?  I have not built this circuit, but it functions in simulation (LTSpice):



LTSpice is a free analog simulator, the one I prefer.  There are other free simulators.  I suggest you learn one of those free tools and simulate circuits before building them.  Simulation is cheaper and less work than replacing fried parts.

I also suggest starting with simpler and lower-power circuits.  Try blinking an LED with a 555 timer.  Make it slow enough (say 10 second period) so that you can measure the capacitor voltage change with time using a meter.  (If you have access to an oscilloscope, that would be even better.)  If you do not have a meter to measure voltage, then I suggest buying that first instead of more parts.  Once you understand how and why simple circuits work, then try something with L/C (inductor/capacitor) resonance.  After L/C resonance makes sense, then try a high-voltage version (Tesla coil).
