Title: Dumbed down explanation of tesla coil circuit
Post by: Emre on April 28, 2019, 09:06:22 AM
I'm in a rush at the moment and need to get my sstc working within 2 days.
I wounded a secondary coil (diameter : 7.5 cm, wire thickness : 0.5mm {200 meters was used so that should be 850 wraps I think})
I have some IRFP460 's a 10k potentiometer some 12k resistors some UF5408 diodes some 12v zener diodes some 1uF capacitors and thats about it. O and also a 250 watt 3 amp ballast.
What would be the simples and quickest way for me to slap these all together to make a tesla coil!
Sorry if i sound rude in this post <3 I came with all good intentions!

You already asked about the same topology in this thread ( https://highvoltageforum.net/index.php?topic=621.0 ), where you got plenty of help.

You need to step up your game, this is not a ask-for-a-solution forum.
