ESAB Bantam TBH 140 Welder Restoration

I found a discarded welding machine in a scrap yard! It might be an older shielded metal arc welder, also known as SMAW or stick welder. But from what my father told me, these old ESAB machines are impossible to destroy. It got a good new home

Features me being very bad at welding!

Yep, they are designed for crappy welders getting their electrode stucked in the workpiece while you are whacking away at it with your slag-hammer trying to break the short, all to the hum of the overloaded X-former, wiring and sometimes even a hum from your circuit breaker- all humming "Dont hurt us anymore".

How would I know...

This one looks lite primary tap current regulated (I have to admit I have not viewed your youtube yet, will do) and needs some serious de-dusting
