Capacitors filter problem

Hello friends, I am confuse about the capacitors. Now if I am using a dc-dc buck/boost converter that output power is about 20~40W and the main frequency I want to filt are 50kHz and 100kHz. My question will be if I can replace
a 100uHF aluminum electrolytic capacitor with 10 10uHF ceramic capacitors? Also there're different like 100n 1n etc. capacitors parallel connected to filt more high frequency noise.

Maybe that is a stupid question but I don't know the how ESR of different capacitors can effect the filter.

Capacitor units are 'F' for Farads.  Inductor units are 'H' for Henries.  You are asking about 100uF capacitor.

For most uses, the lower ESR of ceramic capacitors is better.  There are a few occasions where circuits rely on the ESR of electrolytic capacitors, especially for feedback stability of voltage regulators.

Ceramic capacitors have their own issues.  Z5U and Y5V dielectrics are worthless unless used strictly at room temperature.  Those and X5R and X7R often have severe capacitance reduction as DC voltage increases, sometimes down by 90% by rated voltage.  Actual capacitance in use may be far less than you expect.

...My fault, sorry Faraday. I spaced out. Thank you dave. That's shameful of me. I was doing some wireless power work and measuring some inductors..

After that I search about that ESR and oscillation feedback issue. So maybe I need to read the data sheet of the dc-dc converter IC and try to apply some sample to the circuit to see if the error appearing.

And according to some experiments they say the ESR effect the filt performance than the capacitance. So that a normal 100uF alumium capacitor can be replace by a few-farads ceramic capacitor to be apply in the filter network. That I need to test it later. And the other hand, it may still need a bigger capacitance to provide more current while some pulse using.
