Nice little flybacks for the price

Nice and easy, no pin-testing or winding your own primary and comes with driver board.

Both perform to spec.

The 20kv ones have input pins marked plus and minus, as do the 30kv ones but the 30kv ones came with input leads already attached.

I drove them at a max of 20V and 3A from a DC bench supply, then my additional leads started to overheat.

I'm guessing these output DC, so like typical CRT flyback transformers.  If they output AC, that would make them much more useful.

I assumed they were AC since no outer signs of rectification but haven't tested, will test today.

They are DC, it shows it in the schematic on the store directly charging capacitor. Also shows voltage being measured on a DC meter.

But no doesn't have the nice form factor of the OP. It's very rare to find flybacks with nice fixtures.

Isn't there a way of burning out the in-built diodes?
