necessity of DC-blocking caps and phase adjustment sstc

I'm trying to build an SSTC from this video

but I ran into some problems,

first, because I can't find any 1 and 3uf caps (only up to 100nf), is it safe to just remove the DC-blocking capacitors?? or maybe use electrolytic caps? (I don't think polarised caps will work because I'm using a full bridge inverter),

also, I don't have any Schmitt triggers so I'm planning to remove the phase adjustment circuit and use a BJT inverter to create the inverting signal, does phase adjustment contribute a lot to the output power?, and will the BJT inverter work?

ps: instead of mains I'm planning to use 30 - 50v as the input power

SSTCs are relatively simple circuits, making shortcuts and replacements is generally not something that adds to the stability of long-liveliness of the Tesla coil.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply, after reading what you sent I get that DC-blocking caps are necessary but what about phase adjustment?, do I really need it? because I haven't seen any other design that has it

Looks like that schematic has several mistakes.  I'd suggest looking for different schematics to copy, such as ones on Mads web pages.

Hi, since can you recommend any similar circuits? because I have the tc4420 chips, I would like a circuit that uses it, this is my first SSTC so as simple as possible while not sacrificing much output power would be nice, thank you for your time!

Driver chips without enable inputs adds complexity.  When disabled, both driver chip outputs should be in the same state (both low or both high).  It is possible to do this with gates before driver chip inputs.  Even possible to implement gates with BJTs.  (Research ancient RTL logic for how to implement gates similar to your inverter circuit.)
