Return of Electronics Flea Market in "Silicon Valley"

April 16 will be the first flea market (aka hamfest, swapmeet) after a 3-year hiatus, not counting the false start in April, 2022.

The new venue is West Valley College in Saratoga.
Dates will be second Sundays instead of traditional second Saturdays.
Bumped to third Sunday this month because of Easter. I'm planning to be there with a space to sell and give things away.

Thanks for the heads up! I went to the one in 2022 for the first time and it was really cool. It took a lot of willpower to avoid buying too many things.

Here it comes again!   Season begins on 2024 March 10.   (I will have to miss that day because of travel.)

I attended as buyer on April 14, and bought a couple of toys.   Ignitron tube is mentioned elsewhere.   Got a sealed bag of old vacuum tubes for $3, mainly for two cold-cathode rectifiers that caught my eye. (the rest can be given away at another flea market when I have a seller space.)


Also got a "pen ray" UV lamp and power supply.    I think it's primarily for 254 nm, but there might be some 185 nm getting out. One can certainly smell the ozone within a few seconds of the lamp being warmed up.   Anyone know a chemical test for measuring ozone in a stream of air or O2?
