WTB: Eurofarad SP2550 capacitors

I'm in need of at least 3, but up to 18 Eurofarad SP2550-2 GTO capacitors to complete a huge MMC array that I'm working on.

AFAIK, Kizmo on 4hv bought a lot of them, you can find him on the IRC chat, just follow the chat link up in the top menu to log in through a webclient

I actually just bought the remaining capacitors that Kizmo's state-side friend had bought for him, but never shipped due to exorbitant shipping costs. I contacted JDM Surplus (believe they replaced CTR Surplus at the same location). No response from them as of yet.

Should add that I'm located in the East US.

I ended up with 57... so I need at least 3 for a 15s4p configuration, but preferably I want a 15s5p configuration for a real low impedance tank. That would mean finding 18 more. I could go with a 12s4p configuration for 1.2uF, but the voltage rating starts to suffer a little bit.

The ones I got were also of the 3-hole variety, so every single one will need to be drilled and tapped on the lathe to really become usable.

AVX also made very similar capacitors - their FPX, FAG, and FPG series would come close. The FAG86-9301 model was 600Vac, 3.1uF, 150Arms.

Good luck.  I've got a lathe and mill, so modding them is no problem.  Hopefully I'll find some.
