Title: Push Pull VTTC
Post by: janno288 on March 28, 2024, 01:10:08 AM
Hello, I plan to build a Push-Pull Style VTTC, something I couldnt find anyone before doing.
The Circuit is based on a Push-Pull Hartley Style oscillator and a small prototype with a less powerful tube showed some good results in efficiency and power.

I have attached my current schematic I plan to build, if anything looks wrong or anyone has better suggestions about component values please feel free to comment.
For the Feedback Capacitors I plan to use 470pF 15kV 40kVAr Soviet Doorknobs. I am a bit scared of something going wrong and them shorting or worse exploding.

I have also attached my layout plan, the ferrite rods are where the grid pulldown impedence is and the steel ones where the anode chokes will be.

How likely are the Soviet Doorknobs to suffer under this, does their voltage rating look fine here?
