[ebay EU] good offer on 1000uF 300V Epcos electrolytic caps

Hi all,

I came across this offer of an german ebay seller.
(I don't know the guy just thought it might interest some of you)
120pcs of 1000uF 300V Epcos capacitors for 25€.

I found it a pretty good deal and ordered a lot, he still has a lof of them.

Have bought from that person before, no complaints that I can recall.

Edit: actually looking back at my email, there was an error in a listing that I won, but the seller noticed it before shipping and contacted me with the correction, offering to cancel the sale if I was unhappy - I wasn't so went ahead and didn't have any issues other than that. Communication was in german but I got a workmate to translate my response (chances are replying in english would have been fine too).

not quite as good an offer as the elcos, but at 0,35€/pc I think it's still quite a decent offer.

I have also bought from this seller, all kinds of Electronics.

If you are lucky you can get some real cheap large lots on the auctions, but the buy now is still a good price

I think the MKP caps where 54 pcs @38Euros, ex works.
Still a bargain @ about 0,04 Euro per ampere ripple current at 10kHz, give or take that I haven't reviewed the data sheet.

But list price is around 15Euro/pcs for these.

They are quite robus, care given that they don't get too hot (respect dV/dt and ripple current limitations) for repetive pulse applications.
I don't know how robust in single shoots with ample cooling but as typical ESL and ESR is listed one might make an educated guess.

Buy a shit load, build a pack for a pulse cap?

I bought one and got two boxes with 120 each.

My 120 electrolytics arrived just fine.
They are supplied in the original boxes and packaged well.

They measure perfectly, I can't complain about this seller at all.
Especially at 21ct a piece.

Yeah that was a brain fart from me... I checked again and it does say 60pcs/box on the ones I got. Somehow I just had that 120/box number in my head

I check again and you might be right after all!

He made some special auctions with 120 capacitors and they are cheaper than any of the auctions for single packages that I have ever gotten. So I swiftly bought 360 capacitors I have previously bought 540, but they are all in new homes now

hmm, ~200J/EUR

Would certainly be buying some of these if I didn't already have 4* 6800uF 450V caps for a QCW bulk DC bank. Get a few cheap China PCBs to mount them on and you can have a nice solution for 600V (2 in series) bulk energy storage.

Is there something wrong with ebay or is the hoefler ebay store really empty? I get only one item returned or a bunch of error pages when trying to search the store.

Hi Mads,

it currently seems to work for me.
However I had this issue with a lot of shops on ebay lately, where it shows no items offered.
It fixed itself after around 24 to 48h.

The offer that I posted originally is however not available anymore, as far as I know.
