Anyone experience with Spice/Micro-Cap?

Hi all,

Is anyone using Spice/Micro-Cap (Spectrum software) for designing electronic circuits? The program and the analyses that can be performed with it look very useful to me.

The attached examples show the input & primary circuit for a Tesla coil, and a transient analysis of the circuit in action.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with this software.

SPICE yes, Micro-Cap specifically, no.

Thanks for your reply.
Most probably due to a lack of knowledge (my 'visit' to a school for electrical engineering is so long ago, and was not very succesful at the time) and a failure to find the right information I am still very puzzled by what to specify exactly for my mains power source.I just don't know what some of the boxes are for and can't find the meaning of some of the abbreviations:

Those are not SPICE standard parameters, you'll have to find them in the help file or call support.
