First DRSSTC

Hi every one!
I want to build a DRSSTC. I alredy build a SGTC and a SSTC. I found this tesla coil https://www.loneoceans.com/labs/drsstc1/, and i found the universal driver. But i can't found the inverter circuit. He ever shared? And this DRSSTC is good for the first DRSSTC?

The half bridge inverter power section is the same as the circuit for an SSTC. The DRSSTC uses a smaller capacitor in the tank section to allow a resonance between the primary and secondary. Tuning the frequency of the tank LC is the magic that makes the DR part of DRSSTC real.

The write-up for the DRSSTC1 describes this in a bit more detail. There is also a link to loneoceans SSTC2 which gives the schematic of the inverter circuit.

If I take out the voltage doubler and put in a full bridge rectifier. I will replace the 2 capacitors with mkp capacitors. And I take out the 2 diodes. Can i run it 230VAC?
It works?

I have not built a half bridge DRSSTC. So my advice might miss some subtleties. The two capacitors
you want to replace with MKP are the buss caps?

If so, that will not work. MKP capacitors are low capacitance. You will need hundreds to thousands of
microfarads for the buss caps. Unless you only want to make tiny sparks...

Mads DRSSTCII is a half bridge design running at 220VAC. Check out his schematic.

Hi!
I thought to do this way without the voltage dublear but i didin't discribe it well. Working this inverter if i replace the igbts and the cmm  capacitor and the primary, and use the inverter to loneoceans DRSSTC1 whit 230VAC main voltage input?

Maybe it's a language thing but I could not make any sense of your second sentence.

In any case, the information I gave you in my last post should be enough to answer your question.
 It may take some time to read and understand but that is what tesla coils are all about.
