Chinese SSTC PeleusTech Question

Hi,

Name is Stefan. New to the forum but a long time TC builder. I built SGTC's in high schools 25+ years ago and wanted to delve into SSTC's and so ordered a PeleusTech 20cm output coil from amazon. It is the 7" tall model with the spun toroid and heatsink for a base. It works OK but is a little anemic in the output at only 4 inch sparks max driven by the audio input by a Wavetech sig-gen at around 2-2.5KHz. Sparks are pretty "hot" run that way versus the internal interrupter with is really weak at 250Hz.

Trying to identify the design. I know it is a half bridge design but don't know anything more as it is hard to judge without a schematic. I have read loneoceans and Mads websites information to get a basic understanding of the designs being built.

 Does anyone specifically have a schematic for this? Also, running off of 120V seems limiting; It says can be driven at 220V but i'm a little hesitant to run without a schematic to confirm DRSSTC or not and/or does it have a input voltage doubler built in. Does anyone here have any experience with this little gem?

Most of those builds seem to be designed around '220V' which makes sense being the residential line voltage in China.
You can tell if it's dual resonant or voltage doubled by identifying the capacitors. If there are caps or a cap in series with the primary and the value is well below 1uF or so then it's dual resonant. If there is a current transformer also on the primary wire this is another giveaway. If there are fairly large electrolytic caps in series on the bus it might be doubled but you'd have to confirm by seeing how the diodes are connected.

This machine seems to have been designed and manufactured by me for a company. It's an honor for you to have bought it. Its working voltage is 220V, and the arc extinguishing signal is transmitted through coaxial cables, which carries the risk of high voltage grid connection. This is also due to the cost considerations requested by the company owner at that time. I cannot make a decision. I'm very sorry

Based on the same circuit diagram, I have also designed the SSTC with a circular base for their company, but this machine is only an experimental product
