Will Stepper Motor assy. reconfigure as mainly-convective Induction Heat source?

My recent introductory text rapidly led to one simple concensus:  a change of shape in the work coil will result in frequency issues as « most IH cookers are quasi-resonant types », which prompts me to search alternatives in other domains.  For example why not hack stepper motor hardware instead of an IH Cooker?...

The reasoning follows.  This is a pair of "susceptors", ideally i'd probably want Stainless Steel 430:



In between that's supposed to be a "Flux Concentrator" which ain't meant to contribute as a heater, assuming the susceptor(s) can be sufficiently "excited" long before such massive body warms up from thermal dispersion, rather than electromagnetic induction.  In other words i'm gambling it's an attainable goal to cause "Spot-Heating" by design...  And if it is then i may even wish to wrap it inside a non-magnetic shell to help sink more parasitic energy losses even better - aluminium being my spontaneous choice:



The switch from a composite wood capsule to a full-metal one cause my expected susceptor-to-capsule weight ratio to plummet to a mere ~2 %, as i vaguely recall.  Or 25 % of the mass involving Stainless Steel only...  That may seem a wild bet but i think it can pay additional dividends, in term of features, to search for resonnances to exploit at least initially.  Consequently my IH-driver has to be custom-made it seems, and since it needs to be frequency-agile as an option i sense it's going to cost if i don't give up 1st.

Nonetheless i figure it's got to be inspired of 3-Phase Power stages built for motors;  maybe i should just pick a set of motor + controller and remove its rotor to create some interface cavity where to install my susceptor-based workload inside.  Something like my capsule concept or even radically different, possibly similar to this:



If stepper motors can be made power efficient by design then how about turning one into a heater on purpose??

 

At the very least heavy shielding provided by a refurbished/modified stepper motor casing would come as a bonus in terms of RF pollution.

So, how hard is it to present a heat-generating "short" to the motor's multi-poles stator after removing its rotor?...

While keeping the whole thing cool except its susceptors in the center (remember:  a Pre-Heating IH injection cycle never lasts more than 2 ~ 3 seconds).
