This webinar will review laminated busbar designs and advise some techniques on how to optimize design by avoiding common mistakes. Rogers Corporation’s engineers will share their knowledge about laminated busbars. A dedicated part of this webinar will cover reduction of inductance in DC link systems.

Is electronics-know-how a good thing to register for? Or do they send a bunch of spammy crap? (Obviously stuff like this webinar sound good, but I'm not so keen to get even more irrelevant stuff piling up in my inbox).

electronics-know-how sends out a long list of happenings and products in electronics, more broadly than like if you follow ST, TI, etc. Once in a while there is something interesting, but most I just scroll through and delete the email.

I did watch another webinar that was held earlier on busbar/capacitor total integration, it was about 50/50% commercial/education, but that is kind of expected from these free webinars.

Note regarding the webinar:

Looks like it needs Adobe Flash Player, and will not work by default on Chrome. Probably possible to get it to work though (by fiddling with the chrome setting which disables flash by default), or by using another browser (e.g. IE)

Once went through a quoting process with Methode (manufacturer of laminated bus bar structures), though IIRC we didn't end up buying from them, or, we got something much more basic than the kinds of things they advertise, I forget.

Open to any questions or business ideas you might have.

That was rather disappointing :(

10% introduction
80% advertisement
10% showing actual simulated designs and solutions

I would say that the good parts can be summarized in 3 pictures, not exactly a surprice on the thermal side, but non overlapping terminals have a greater impact than I thought.
