Wierd ud 1.3 driver with no ocd regulation?
« on: September 08, 2024, 10:46:39 AM »
Hi, i just buyed and interrupter on aliexpress since it was cheap with an ud1.3 driver but it dosent seem to have any onboard potentiometer to correct the ocd... am i missing something?

the only way there seems to be is to make an appropriate turns feedback but then it sould be super precise... i guess like 1750 turns for 350A (wich is what im going for) but what if i want to start lower... how can i make it variable...

thx a lotty to everyone who is gonna help me out.

Some Pics of the driver:

So, a bit of an update, after talking to some people from ebay and aliexpress who are shelling this design.. we just concluded that the driver is without any ocd regulation other than the feedback and ocd ct that we have to make... so its only possible to adjust over current protection through the windings on the cores of feedback and ocd..

Since im aiming for around 350Amps and the wierd board works like this:

2000:1 = 400A
1000:1 = 200A
500:1 = 100A
250:1 = 50A
1:1=0.2A

i just decided to go as close as i could to 1750 without going over it (that would be 1000[200A]+500[100A]+250[50A]=1750[350A])... so with a 41 winding on one core and 42 winding on another core.. that give us around 1722 turns when connected thogether with a single winding... so that would be around 344.4Amps.. pretty close to what i intended it to be...
