Looking for an arduino based DRSSTC interrupter.
« on: July 25, 2024, 11:33:07 PM »
Hey everybody,

I’m currently in the process of building my first DRSSTC, however I’m having some issues with Steve Ward‘s DRSSTC interrupter and I’m in dire need for a simple and not so tedious interrupter that is purely Arduino based with an adjustable BPS of about 50hz - 1000hz and with an adjustable pulse width.

Is anybody willing to give me their code? I have no knowledge about Arduino and coding in general at all, thank you.
My semiconductors went kapow, IGBTs are fried somehow.
With sparks and pops, they took a flight,
Turning day into night!

You can look into the oneTesla SD Interrupter. It's design and code are open and available to download at their website: https://onetesla.com/downloads . The interrupter runs a bare ATmega chip but they claim the firmware is arduino compatible so I reckon it should be easy to get it going on a typical arduino dev board.

Be prepared to start a whole new world of learning.  Take it from me, as one who has been using them for years, Arduino, in my opinion, is NOT "plug and play".
You might want to start by going to https://www.adafruit.com/  Click "Learn" and locate and view a few of their hundreds of excellent  tutorials.  They also have a forum section for many products, several  of which relate to  Arduino.
You WILL have to learn some coding by the time you get your first project running.
