Just extract an picture out of your Strike Rail hit in a video.
Main issue for us was the the ground cable from the rail down don't keep the power and it sparked inside the housing out of the cable.
When something simmilar happens in your coil and the UD2.7 is close it could get a hit too and shut down.
And it seems it is close to the ground cable because the srike rail not goes down directly and is also used as strike rail for the complete coil.

Yes that could be it. I might try to make a shielding box for the driver.

Nice build! How are you powering it? I'm guessing 240v into the doubler? What's your wall circuit rated at? Have you ever had problems with breakers tripping?

Yup 240Vac into a voltage doubler. 50A breaker and I've never pulled enough power to trip it. I haven't measured it but I think this coil might only draw 20 or 30A max depending on the pulse rate.
