GDT cable specs

Hello, I am new to forum,

before I started posting i did a search "cat6" but i did not find any results about my question.

Is CAT6 cable suitable for trifiliar winding of a GDT based on UCC37322/1 driving circuit?

I have seen almost everyone using CAT5, but what is going to be the difference good or bad by using CAT6?

(cat6 cables are bigger in diameter than cat5)

Yes Cat6 is just as good as Cat5 cable

Hello,

For you use, cat6 are juste more expensive, the only difference is the "isolation" of cables, the wire are the same.

Cat6 just has that plus (+) shaped plastic filler in the middle to keep the 4 pairs a set distance apart.

Thank you all for your asnwers, so in theory either cat5 or cat6 are going to work the same as a GDT
