Bicron Scintillator

I have a fair amount (6 pieces) of Bicron plastic scintillator. It is either BC408 or BC412 and works perfectly for muon detection.
The pieces are either 9x7 or 7x7 inches and 1.5 inches thick. Two of the larger and four of the smaller.

The pieces were cut form a much larger block and some of the 1.5 inch thick edges are very rough. The plastic has a very low
melting point so it was hard to cut. Finishing the edges is not too hard. Go through the 80 to 600 grit sandpapers and then use
plastic polishing compound to get a clear finish. It took me about an hour to do a 14 inch edge.

I will send these blocks to US locations only. I am too lazy to figure out and implement overseas. Sorry.

The cost is postage plus a few bucks for my time. Probably about twenty bucks total. I thinks it's a pretty good deal.
